As a Trainer II, you are responsible for scheduling and delivering training sessions, facilitating various regulatory trainings for AAA employees and the airport community, and supporting the Learning & Development Manager in managing training facilities. Operating within the scope of applicable (local) laws and regulations, you are also tasked with designing training programs.
Main responsibilities include:
- Assist in the preparation of annual and monthly training plans and schedules, ensuring efficient organization and execution of all training activities.
- Deliver education and regulatory training sessions for AAA employees and the airport community, including airlines, ground handlers, and other stakeholders.
- Keep training software, syllabi, materials, and reports up to date to support effective training delivery and compliance.
- Contribute to the design, evaluation, and continuous improvement of training courses in accordance with feedback and regulatory requirements.
- Help develop and deliver training that complies with national and international aviation safety and security regulations (e.g., ICAO, FAA, IATA).
- Supervise and evaluate the implementation and impact of training initiatives by monitoring employee performance and reporting findings.
- Liaise with managers, part-time trainers, external trainers, and airport stakeholders to align training needs with organizational goals and policies.
- Assist in preparing training budgets and ensure cost-effective training solutions and resource allocation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training in the field of Safety and/or Security and/or Training.
- Certifications on ACI Airport Safety, ICAO Training Instructor, ICAO Training Developer, DGR, TSA Instructor, and DCA Trainer are a plus.
- Experience in Airport Safety, Security and/or Operations
- Knowledge of the international and national aviation and Aviation Act-and Regulations concerning safety and security.
- Knowledge of and experience with Training systems including training and testing software
