What is the opportunity?

In this role you will assist with the administration of Talent Cycle activities that encompass the life cycle of an RBC Caribbean Banking employee. These services include the new hire process, transfers and promotions and terminations. You will also be required to update Workday to ensure the accuracy of employee records and compensation.

 

What will you do?

  • Perform RBC pre-employment checks and verification of documents for new hires.
  • Prepare employee letters for any life cycle changes related to Promotions, Transfers and Compensation Changes
  • Follow up of all planned exit dates for all RBC contract staff and RBC permanent officers on assignment
  • Monitor daily integrations from Workday to the HR Payroll System and resolve integration errors
  • Update and verify any manual Job Data updates to the HR Payroll Systems.
  • Support the resolution of ad hoc Workday issues and escalations as requested by Employees, People Managers, HR Business Partners and HR Advice
  • Triaging of the Talent Cycle generic mailbox and management of incoming request in the ServiceNow Workflow tool
  • Assist in the creation, implementation, training, improvement and maintenance of Talent Cycle procedures/checklists
  • Identify Workday End User trends, inefficiencies and learning opportunities
  • Provide support during Talent Cycle audits to ensure timely submission of requested data
  • Maintain Talent Cycle operations and adhere to all controls by following policies and procedures and reporting required changes
  • Support for initiatives/projects and testing of changes that impact the employee life cycle
  • Maintain employee confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential

 

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Five (5) years banking experience and
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Basic Accounting skills
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong collaboration skills

 

Nice to have

  • Degree in business, banking, customer service or administration
  • Basic knowledge of Caribbean wide tax laws and treaties
