What is the opportunity?
The Senior Manager Talent Cycle & Payroll leads the regional delivery, standardization and compliance of Talent Cycle and Payroll operations across the Caribbean. This HR Operations team is responsible for supporting the business with all aspects of the employee life cycle from onboarding to terminations and payroll delivery.
What will you do?
- Provide leadership and direction for Talent Cycle & Payroll Services to RBC employees across countries in the Caribbean region
- Deliver accurate and timely end-to-end payroll services ensuring compliance to internal and external regulatory requirements, including processing, taxation, payments, adjustments, remittances, cost allocations, audits, verifications, GL reconciliation & reporting, etc.
- Ensure Caribbean-wide regulatory returns and management information relating to the payroll function are prepared and submitted within respective deadlines
- Drive compliance, standardization and efficiency of payroll processes within region, aligned to global processes, technology and governance for RBC employees the Caribbean region
- Ensure all Privacy & Risk policies and protocols are followed to avoid privacy breaches and operational risks
- Provide guidance and assistance to HR Business Partners, employees and managers in resolving HR data, system, process or policy related issues
- Ensure the data integrity of the Workday and HRMS Systems related to employee lifecycle changes
- Utilize HR System data to understand employee trends, identify patterns, and measure the effectiveness of talent cycle tools, documentation and processes
- Ensure that Payroll and Talent Cycle Operations adhere to all controls by following policies and procedures and reporting required changes
- Manage and train team on the day-to-day operations and activities of their team, including providing guidance and support and evaluating performance.

What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- Degree in Business Management, HR Management or similar qualification
- 7-10 years of HR related experience, knowledge of HR processes and procedures, professional/financial firm experience
- Experience in HR Operations / HR Shared Services Management
- Proven track record of strong people management
- High levels of knowledge of relevant legislative requirements Strong technical ability with HRIS systems and excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Tools
