Senior Analyst, Infrastructure Operations TT

Purpose of Role:
The Senior Analyst, Infrastructure Operations assists the Infrastructure & Support services team in reducing / minimizing the risk of compromised availability, accuracy, and security of new or existing systems. The incumbent supports the completion of risk assessments for existing and emerging technology in the portfolio and performs independent reviews to provide assurance that the processes / controls implemented to mitigate deficiencies are embedded and sustained.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Completes the deviation management process for the Infrastructure and Support Service team, as subject matter expert, including preparing of deviation forms, managing all process & procedure document updates and preparing of draft action plans to resolve current deviations and ensure future compliance with the Bank’s policies, standards, guidelines, procedures and controls, and laws, regulations and standard practices.
  • Coordinates the planning and execution of service continuity testing of applications and technical services, including the updating of all the manuals and service continuity management plans in collaboration with technical SMEs to ensure compliance with applicable standards and operational resilience of critical services used by the Bank thereby minimizing the risk of service loss and reputational impact.
  • Performs gap analysis and reviews of the team’s processes, polices & procedures, identifying and escalating any risk implications, and informing the technical writer of updates to the policies and procedures to support the identification and documentation of risks impacting the control environment.
  • Coordinates the team’s internal and external audit engagements acting as the key point of contact between the team and the auditors scheduling interviews with the relevant SMEsto ensure the general audit readiness and timely delivery and accuracy of artefacts and audit deliverables.
  • Completes key risk-based assessments for the team’s portfolio (new and existing) including Inherent Risk Assessments, Process Unity, TPRA, SAT and regulatory reviews  to assist in meeting the requirements and timelines of these processes, supporting the Bank’s obligations and ensure alignment with the Bank’s existing technologies, policies, and procedures.
  • Develops & maintains comprehensive reporting mechanisms generating regular reports and presentations on deviation management technology currency and decommission management to stakeholders, including management, gathering data though collaboration with teams across Technology, and recommending actionable improvementsto track key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics, and trends, provide insights into the organization's infrastructure posture while ensuring accuracy and relevance of reports / data.
  • Responsible for overseeing and establishing the documentation practices of the unit; certifying procedure, policy and knowledge related documents are produced and maintained in accordance with the defined schedules.

Critical Experience & Knowledge Required:
  • 3-5 years of experience in reporting or analysis within the financial services industry
  • Ability to examine and analyze data in a systematic and organized manner
  • Proven ability to produce quality documentation, presentations and reports.
  • Experience working in technical environments while collaborating with multi-disciplined teams
  • Experience working with regulated environments (e.g., PCI, SOX, etc.)
  • Experience in managing and obtaining successful audits.
  • Experience in stakeholder management and relationship management, both internally and externally
  • Good knowledge of risk and audit issues for TI&I
  • Degree in computer science, information systems or technology
  • Relevant certifications such as ITIL, PMP would be an asset.
