As a Risk, Insurance & Compliance Officer, you will play a central role in safeguarding AAA’s commitment to safe, resilient, and well-governed airport operations. Your core responsibility is to identify, assess, and manage risks across the organization while supporting the full Risk Management cycle. You will handle insurance activities, execute compliance processes, and strengthen controls that protect AAA against key operational, financial, and strategic risks.

 

Responsibilities include

-       Identify, assess, and monitor business and project risks, maintaining accurate records and follow-up actions.

-       Support the management of AAA’s insurance portfolio, including coordination with brokers, insurers, and appraisers.

-       Assist with insurance renewals, inspections, and the full claims-handling process.

-       Administer third-party insurance requirements, including screenings and documentation control.

-       Conduct client due diligence (CDD) and support compliance processes such as vetting, policy updates, and awareness.

-       Support risk assessments for processes and projects and prepare periodic risk and compliance reports.

-       Contribute to awareness sessions, workshops, and training for risk, insurance, and compliance.

-       Provide additional support to the Risk Manager and CFO in all risk, insurance, and compliance-related tasks.
 

Requirements

-         Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management, Compliance, Audit, Business Administration, or comparable education/knowledge level.

-         Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.

-         Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

-         High integrity, independence, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

-         Proven insight into Risk & Compliance management.

-         Strong communication skills in Dutch, English, and Papiamento.

-         Ability to influence stakeholders across the organization.
 

The following are considered a plus

-         Master’s Degree.

-         Professional certifications (CRMPS, ACAMS, CRMA, RO or similar).
