We are looking for a driven and versatile Officemanager who will contribute to the efficient operation of the department. In this position, you are responsible for both secretarial and management support. You provide support to the head of the department and coordinate the daily activities of lower staff members. As a key figure within the team, you ensure that administrative processes run smoothly and that all parties involved
are well-informed.
Your responsibilities:
• Management Support: You monitor the progress of agreements, obligations, and decisions made. In addition, you perform financial administrative tasks, payment orders and the preparation of reports.
• Secretarial Support: You process the incoming flow of documents, monitor the progress of these documents, and assess incoming correspondence for urgency and importance. You also write letters and manage the agenda of the head of department.
• Coordination and Organization: You coordinate the daily activities within the team, receive and guide visitors, prepare business trips, and compile meeting documents.
• Document Management: You build and manage documentation and archiving systems, ensure the archiving of confidential information, and take care of proper information provision.
What do you bring?
• Associate degree and relevant working experience.
• Knowledge of administrative procedures, management support, archiving and documentation techniques.
• Experience in a secretarial and administrative role, preferably within a government environment.
• Language skills in both Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
• Organizational talent and a hands-on mentality for coordinating various tasks and monitoring progress.
• Insight into organizational relationships and a good handling of sensitive information.
