JOB SUMMARY

The incumbent will be responsible for managing, directing and leading operations of the Electronic Security Department to ensure that the team of technicians meets and exceeds technical systems support to the network on CCTV, AHD & IP based Systems, Access Control, Data/Video communications, Internet Setup, Smart alarm system and other structured wiring for all video and data communications. He/She will also be responsible for Technical support services which includes installing, configuring, troubleshooting, repairs, on security end devices and providing technical expertise regarding optimal use of the systems.  

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manages multiple high-priority initiatives and all aspects of electronic security operations within the organization.
• Replaces existing and installs new CCTV and access control systems to all branches and offices to enhance the organization’s security posture.
• Evaluates emerging technologies to support the rollout of the enterprise systems not only in T&T, but regionally.
• Develops and implements strategic plans and objectives under business-as-usual conditions and projects to ensure effective security measures are in place.
• Collaborates with other departments to assess security risks and develop effective mitigation strategies, including creating contingency plans to address potential disruptions. 
• Assess risks, identify necessary resources, and devise detailed response protocols while targeting and managing trend analysis in the network.
• Monitors and analyzes security incidents, trends, and emerging threats to proactively identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements. 
• Reviews, evaluates, and analyzes the effectiveness and efficiency of equipment, systems, methods, and procedures relative to compliance with standards, identifying any issues, and ensuring everything is functioning as intended. 
• Measures the performance of equipment and systems to determine if objectives are being met, and identifies areas for improvement 
• Ensures proper Service Management practices are maintained and/or implemented through timely and effective coordination with external vendors and contractors for the procurement, installation, and maintenance of security systems and equipment.
• Monitors and reports on the security budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation and cost-effectiveness relative to forecasting of future resource requirements.
• Serves as a liaison with law enforcement agencies, government officials, and other relevant stakeholders to address security concerns and maintain a secure environment
• Manages the Installation, configurations, troubleshooting while providing technical support for all DVR’S, HVR’S, NVR’S, Security Cameras, Access Control card readers, Keypads,  Smart alarm, Smart devices, Intercoms, Point of Sale, Internet devices (POE switches, modems (ISP), and other hardware material & devices used by First Citizens Bank Network. 
• Collaborates with the Senior Manager and makes recommendations to branches/ units upon request for appropriate hardware configurations based on system compatibility needs to ensure optimal performance. 
• Oversees and monitors the assignment of the leased vehicles to Technicians in accordance with the Bank’s policies and collaborates with the respective department to ensure the timely maintenance of the vehicles
• Escalates to the Senior Manager- Security Services Unit any potential situations that may result in diminished performance and/or failure of the network equipment/communications.
• Coordinates and manages technicians while they provide technical support at locations during infrastructure improvements in relation to security equipment and video/data termination to ensure the continuation of operations with minimum downtime.
• Ensures new and existing staff are properly exposed to and trained on the job requirements in order to maximize quality and efficient services.
• Performs all other duties, assignments, and special projects assigned by the Senior Manager – Security Services. 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Candidates must possess a First Degree in Information Technology or Cybersecurity from a reputable University and three (3) years progressive experience in CCTV Security controls devices and systems or related field, with at least one (1) year in a supervisory role OR
• Executive Diploma/Diploma and five (5) years progressive experience in CCTV Security controls devices and systems or related field, with at least two (2) years in a supervisory role OR
• GMDP Certificate and seven (7) years progressive experience in CCTV Security control devices and systems or related field, with at least three (3) years at the supervisory level
• A certification in Information Security Manager (CISM) and a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) would be an asset
• In-depth knowledge/understanding of circuit schematic and logic diagrams to perform maintenance and to implement minor equipment changes.
• Expert in reading and understanding electrical schematics and related documents for their use in low-voltage applications.

• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint Point and HRIS Systems
• Knowledge of the Group’s products and services.
