As a Legal Intern at AAA, you will support the Legal team in reviewing governance documents, contract templates, and tender procedures. This internship offers a valuable opportunity for students or recent graduates in Law to apply their academic knowledge in a corporate legal environment, with exposure to both national and international legal frameworks.

Main responsibilities include:

Assist in reviewing and updating Corporate Governance documents to align with the (draft) Corporate Governance Code of Aruba.
Support the revision and refinement of AAA’s Tender Procedures and legal contract templates.
Conduct legal research and contribute to internal legal memos and documentation.
Provide administrative and organizational support to the Legal team.
Help maintain legal records and the contract/documentation tracking system.
Participate in legal meetings (e.g., Tender Committee, stakeholder sessions) when available.

Requirements:

Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law or a related field.
Strong interest in corporate law, governance, and contracts.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Dutch and Papiamento.
You are analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
You are reliable, organized, and capable of working independently and in a team.
