General Purpose:

The Insurance Representative acts as intermediary between the Bank’s (prospective) retail clients (or corporate clients, if applicable) and the Insurance companies. He/she provides excellent customer service and gives advice related to insurance products.

Position Highlights:

• Provide information to (prospective) customers regarding insurance products and services;
• Provide excellent customer service to effectively assist customers with their requests;
• Actively sell insurance products, tailored to the customer’s need;
• Responsible for the control and timely follow-up of all insurance policies within the assigned portfolio;
• Provide personalized support throughout the claims process, this includes maintaining ongoing communication with the insurance companies;
• Assist other departments with  information on insurance products and services.

• Handles client payment arrangements and provides reliable administrative support to ensure smooth policy management.

Requirements:

• MBO degree with 2 years of relevant experience in the insurance field;
• Good knowledge of the local insurance market is a plus;
• Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively;
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Dutch;
• Effective team player and able to adapt to change;
• Time management skills and ability to prioritize effectively.
