As Electronic Technician you will be responsible for the maintenance of electronic equipment throughout the Airport. You will need to perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance to avoid unexpected breakdowns. AAA’s Maintenance Strategy is based on a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), which tracks all service activities and generates reports to improve efficiency and reliability. Additionally, you should stay updated with the latest technological advancements and comply with safety regulations and standards.

Main Responsibilities include:

  • Routine maintenance of electronic equipment;
  • Preventive maintenance of electronic equipment;
  • Repair of electronic equipment;
  • Routine and preventive maintenance on fire alarm systems;
  • Installation of fire alarm systems.

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in Electrical Engineering (MBO/MTS);
  • At least 3 years working experience within a function in the electrical field;
  • Working experience with fire alarm and access control systems;
  • Working experience with x-ray machines, ETD’s and metal detectors is an advantage;
  • Good communications skills in Papiamento, Spanish, Dutch and English, both verbal and in writing;
  • Basic computer knowledge.

Unit: Development & Technology

The Electronic Technician reports directly to the Team Leader Electronics.
