As an Aviation Business Development Officer, you support the Aviation Business Development team in developing and executing both long-term strategies and short-term tactics to drive the company’s aviation business growth. You are responsible for conducting business development reviews, monitoring KPIs, and measuring the performance of ABD metrics using BI tools. Additionally, you play a key role in the development and effective implementation of the air service development policy, with a focus on analyzing and reporting data, and conducting necessary research related to the policy's performance.
Main responsibilities include:
- Import, manage, and maintain aviation databases, including intelligence software and seat capacity data relevant to the Air Service Development subunit.
- Collect, interpret, and analyze industry and market data to provide actionable insights for strategic planning and development.
- Design and maintain dashboards, reports, surveys, and presentation templates using business intelligence tools to support data-driven decision-making.
- Conduct in-depth research on the aviation industry and destination markets to build a strong knowledge base and anticipate client needs.
- Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports summarizing key metrics and trends for internal use and stakeholder communication.
- Support the preparation of presentations and data materials for conferences, business meetings, and strategic discussions with partners like ATA, AHATA, and government entities.
- Assist with research and writing for client proposals and business cases, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and stakeholder expectations.
- Help coordinate and execute events and campaigns, including inaugural flight ceremonies and marketing initiatives across digital and print platforms.
- Develop and manage quarterly customized airline performance reports for internal review and external stakeholder distribution.
- Manage the Air Service Development newsletter and related communications using BI tools to maintain strong relationships with airlines and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in marketing and statistics or equivalent expertise.
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of the relevant rules, regulations, and developments in the air service development industry, with a strong affinity for calculation and BI programs and methods.
- Proficient in using BI tools for data analysis, performance tracking, and reporting.
- Experience in preparing reports, proposals, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Skilled in managing relationships with airlines, stakeholders, and other aviation-related businesses.

The Aviation Business Development Officer reports directly to the Aviation Business Development Executive.
