Analyst, Process Improvement TT

General Accountability

The Analyst, Process Improvement plays a key role in enhancing business operations by delivering business process improvement through process mapping, workflow analysis, and re-engineering. Reporting and working closely with the Senior Analyst, Process Intelligence, this role analyses processes to identify inefficiencies, redesigns business processes, and implements sustainable improvements. The Analyst is also instrumental in maintaining high-quality documentation, assisting with training initiatives, and contributing to the long-term development of a continuous improvement culture across the organization.

 

Key Responsibilities

Process Analysis and Optimization

  • Analyze, map, and document business processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for process improvement or automation.

Requirements Gathering.

  • Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys with stakeholders to capture business and functional requirements.

Implementation and Documentation.

  • Support implementation of improvement initiatives by developing process maps, workflows, and related end user documentation.

Collaboration in Process Intelligence Unit.

  • Work alongside the Senior Analyst and Manager to support data gathering and analysis for process intelligence activities.

Training Development and Delivery.

  • Develop user-friendly training materials and assist in delivering sessions that support adoption of process changes.

Monitoring and Measuring Improvements.

  • Track and evaluate the impact of implemented process changes to ensure they achieve intended outcomes and remain sustainable.

Cross Functional Collaboration.

  • Work with cross functional teams to understand current operational challenges and identify opportunities for process improvement.

Stakeholder Relationship Management.

  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders to support the successful execution of improvement initiatives.

Training Content Support.

  • Assist in developing and updating training materials related to new processes and tools.

Process Documentation Maintenance.

  • Maintain organized process documentation libraries, ensuring version control and easy access for all stakeholders.

Reporting on Process Improvement Activities.

  • Prepare and maintain regular reports on process improvement and intelligence initiatives, tracking progress and measuring performance against KPIs.

Documentation Indexing and Filing.

  • Ensure proper indexing and secure filing of all process maps and related materials for ongoing and complete improvement activities.

Strategic Planning Support.

  • Contribute to strategic planning efforts by leveraging data and insights gathered through the process of intelligence and improvement work.

Ad-Hoc Managerial Support.

  • Assist the Manager with ad-hoc requests related to process mapping and process improvement tasks.

 

The selected candidate must possess the following combination of qualifications, skills, training and experience:

 

  • A First Degree in a relevant field from an accredited tertiary institution
  • Minimum of five (5) years’   experience in a similar position within the financial industry and
  • Three (3) years’ supervisory experience
  • Suitable combination of training and experience
  • Certification or coursework in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA, or similar) is a plus will be an asset

OR

  • A Diploma in a relevant field from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of six (6) years’   experience in a similar position within the financial industry and
  • Four (4) years’ supervisory experience
  • Suitable combination of training and experience
  • Certification or coursework in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA, or similar) is a plus will be an asset
