The Treasury Analyst will be required to conceptualize and apply advanced knowledge of bank documentation for the various bank accounts of The Western Union Company and its subsidiaries, both in the United States and internationally totaling approximately 6,900+ accounts. You will be responsible for opening, maintaining, and closing bank accounts in accordance with Corporate Polices & Procedures, corporate resolutions/constitutive documents, reviewing detailed bank agreements, ensuring that all authorized signers on bank accounts are valid and implementing process improvements when identified.
You will be responsible for completion of documentation for all domestic and international bank accounts and maintaining hard-copy and soft-files. Additionally, you will have the responsibility for the maintenance of a comprehensive bank account database to create, run and distribute monthly and/or quarterly reports. You will be responsible for creating and updating procedures related to Treasury. You will troubleshoot and resolve various problems or issues related to Western Union’s account(s). In addition, you will also assist with various Know Your Customer (KYC) reviews and special projects for the Treasury Department.
For such a critical role, you will need to have minimum of 2 - 4 years’ finance and/or treasury experience. A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Finance or related discipline or 5 years’ work experience in the field of banking and/or treasury. You will need to possess advance user skills in Microsoft Excel and Word. Your ability to review complex legal documents and identify areas for management/legal review is important. You must be able to work on multiple projects or tasks concurrently and be able to change existing priorities with short notice. Having excellent verbal/written communication skills and a strong attention to detail will be critical in this role. Your ability to build and establish relationships with key stakeholders will be leveraged. Fluency in a foreign language would be an asset.
