Technical Instructor - A&C

JOB  SUMMARY
The Technical Instructor - A&C will report to the Manager, Technical Training. The selected candidate will have the responsibility for the design and delivery of customer focused training programmes in order to ensure developmental needs of all relevant personnel are met. He/she will also assist in the planning, implementation and evaluation of these training programmes.
   
Key  Deliverables
 

  • Training: Design and deliver training plans to meet the targeted level of skill and competency to all maintenance and engineering personnel system wide.
  • Operational Effectiveness: Identify deficiencies; make suggestions for corrective action; monitor the response and measure the result of training initiatives.
  • Audit: Perform audits on training programmes and  highlight areas where changes are required to improve the efficiency and effectiveness  and provide the necessary recommendations and support to implement
  • enhanced systems.
  • Customer Service: Continuously seek to capitalize on opportunities to exceed the expectations of customers (internal and external) by placing a keen interest on understanding and effectively resolving customer-impacting issues in a professional and result-oriented manner.
  • Compliance:  Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.

 
   
Person Specification: 
You must have an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s Licence (AMEL) with TTCAA extensions in categories A&C and
training to a level which permits the grant of company authorization on at least one aircraft type. You must also have a minimum of five (5) years working experience in aircraft maintenance and engineering, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. You must have the ability and proven track record to develop and conduct training courses. You must have strong knowledge of the current TTCAA regulations. Train the Trainer qualification would be asset.
   
You must have excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate to all levels within the organization.
You must demonstrate strong influencing skills and an innovative mindset. Strong analytical abilities, excellent facilitation skills and strong project management skills are an important requirement of the role.
