The role of the Talent Acquisition Specialist is new within the HR&OD department, which means you will start from scratch with the recruitment process. Our ideal candidate has experience in a similar position within a medium-sized organization and takes the lead in streamlining the recruitment process at CMC. In this role, you will explore creative and innovative methods to attract potential candidates in the complex hospital environment. This involves attracting professionals with various types of expertise, specializations, and non-exempt (Moratorium Act) positions. To shape the recruitment of new talent for CMC, you will organize various activities, implement campaign plans, build and manage talent pools, and actively contribute to the employer branding CMC.

Placement within the organization:

The Talent Acquisition Specialist reports directly to the Director of HR & Organizational Development.

Main tasks of the position:

• You are responsible for the entire recruitment process (full-cycle recruitment) and pay close attention to an optimal candidate experience;
• You are in charge of the sourcing strategy and coordinate all related activities;
• You understand the organization’s needs (various stakeholders) and translate them into recruitment strategies;
• You collaborate closely with department heads, HR Business Partners, and other colleagues from the HR department;
• You manage the process and all information related to applicants;
• You assess applications to select the best candidates and, if necessary, conduct pre-screenings;
• You provide support to applicants throughout the recruitment process and assist them during the onboarding process;
• You ensure continuous process optimization;
• You build and maintain relationships with recruitment agencies (local and international);
• You develop, maintain, and report on recruitment statistics.

Profile and job requirements:

• For this challenging position, a completed Bachelor’s degree is required;
• Experience in setting up and organizing a recruitment process is a plus;
• Full-cycle, high-volume recruitment experience is preferred;
• Knowledge of the hospital organization is an advantage;
• Knowledge of the AFAS system is an advantage;
• You have gained experience in a similar role within an HR department, preferably in a large complex organization;
• You possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
• Proficiency in Dutch, Papiamento, and English (both written and spoken) is required, and basic knowledge of Spanish is a plus;
• You are a self-starter who can work independently as well as in a team;
• You are skilled at prioritizing tasks within a deadline-oriented environment.
