Senior Valuation Roll Officer

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following vacant position Senior Valuation Roll Officer - 1 post within the Land Valuation Division, National Land Agency.

 

Job Purpose

To assist the Supervisor in ensuring that the Valuation Roll Book and that appropriate records of correspondence are kept and that Notices of Amendments to the Valuation Roll are expeditiously dispatched.

 

Key Responsibility Areas:

  • Assists in guiding junior staff in the preparation, updating  and maintenance of the Valuation Roll
  • Operates in-house computerized and manual recording systems relating to the Valuation services unit
  • Assists in the disposition of valuation case files and correspondence
  • Assists in auditing clerical amendments to the Valuation Roll
  • Addresses queries from Collectorates
  • Conducts visits, along with Supervisor, to Collectorates island wide to discuss matters relating to the Valuation Roll

 

Other Responsibilities

  • Performs other related duties assigned from time to time by the Supervisor

  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Sound knowledge of the Land Valuation System
  • Competence in the use of word processing and other relevant computer software

 

Minimum Required Education and Experience

  • Certificate in Management Studies/Public Administration
  • At least one  year  experience in the environ of valuation roll
  • Supervisory Management training will be an asset

 

Salary:

Salary Range: $1,085,979- $1,166,538 p.a.

 

The successful candidate will report to the Supervisor, Valuation Roll
