Your Profile:

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual for the role of Senior Quality & Safety (Q&S) Officer. As Senior Q&S Officer, you develop quality plans to ensure the achievement of required quality standards and enhance the culture of safety in SMMC. You lead root cause analyses and investigations into process deviations in cooperation with other departments and you are an active member of several hospital committees. You design, coordinate and maintain various aspects of patient safety and risk management programs for SMMC. The Senior Q&S Officer oversees the daily operations of the Q&S department and contributes to the achievement of the organization’s goals and objectives with regards to quality of care and accreditation.

Additional Requirements: 

• Completed Master’s degree in in Quality Control and Safety Management, Health Care Management, Public Health, or equivalent degree;
• Minimum three years’ work experience in a health care setting;  
• Thorough understanding of legislation and safety regulations in health care;  
• Highly analytical and possesses problem-solving skills and perseverance to accomplish project milestones;  
• Pragmatic, hands-on and able to work independently under pressure;  
• Verbal and written communication skills in English are required. Dutch is considered a pro.
