The Senior Clerk, Archives & Records Management Unit supervises the functions of the Archives & Records Management Unit.
What you’ll do:
- Supervises the operations of the Archives & Records Management Unit
- Supervises the operations of the Records Centre/Vault
- Performs Records and Information Management activities
- Provides information retrieval services
- Appraises direct reports
- Performs Document Control Coordinator duties
- Oversees Library Operations
- Other duties as may be assigned by any duly authorized person from time to time
What we’re looking for:
- An Associate Degree from a recognized institution, accredited Diploma in Supervisory Management OR equivalent qualification
- Certificate in Records and Information Management and/or supervisory level experience in a records repository for at least three years
- Minimum of three years relevant working experience
- Computer literacy and knowledge of internet applications required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe; and in work flow applications would be a distinct advantage
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; demonstrated confidentiality ability
- Good numeracy skills
- Excellent organization and administrative skills
- Planning, analytical and research capabilities
