Rollover Sales Representative JM

The Rollover Sales Representative will sell to new and existing customers in designated Yello Media Group territories. This will be comprised of Print and IYD. The Rollover Sales team will be focused on generating incremental business within existing accounts as well as acquiring new business.  This will include developing relationships to positively impact customer retention.


The Rollover Sales Representative will achieve the assigned sales targets while excelling in customer satisfaction. The Rollover Sales Representative will work closely with the Senior General Manager – Inside Sales & Rollover, to help define and achieve overall market canvass targets across the designated YMG territories by partnering with all relevant sales channels.  Also, collaboration with Product and Marketing Managers will be required for product and pricing while working with the Marketing team to identify market awareness needed through A&P in order to achieve ultimate revenue outcomes. This will necessitate the fostering of strong cross-functional and field relationships that will ensure support to maximize revenue growth.




  • Bachelor’s or Associate's Degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of two (2) years experience working in sales.
  • Proven experience working as an Advertising Sales Representative.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office suites.
  • Knowledge of all products and services offered by Yello Media Group.
  • Additional relevant sales and marketing certification.
  • A proven track record of excellent tele-sales, customer service and achieving targets.

  • Execute objectives and tasks for the day-to-day activities of the Rollover Sales Representatives.
  • Work with the Head of Sales Rollover manager to define needs and approaches throughout the year to achieve collective revenue targets across the designated company territories (as required).
  • Ensure annual targets are achieved and track performance.
  • Improve customer experience and achieve or exceed determined sales targets.
  • Cultivate and implement strategic plans to increase customer loyalty.
  • Work with the Premise Directory Sales manager to better understand customer business needs and goals to present the best solutions options for the client.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies and tactics on an ongoing basis throughout the year to ensure revenue targets are met in the Premise Directory and as a contributor to the overall company revenue goals.
  • Manage daily workflow, and escalations while maintaining a positive "can do" attitude.
  • Use BI data to prospect and sell to the right clients in the marketplace.
  • Manage the agreed levels of sales activity to raise revenue and lead volume for designated markets.
  •  Meet and exceed budgeted revenues and growth objectives to ensure assigned revenue is completed by the agreed deadline for all designated markets.
  • Assess ongoing performance to target and develop variance plans to close any negative gaps.
  • Attending weekly status meetings with the Head of Sales Rollover manager to contribute to overall company revenue reporting.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and customer experience.
  • Maintain a high level of team spirit and departmental cohesion.
  • Work with the Head of Sales Rollover manager on checks related to prep, pre-calls, and post-calls, to ensure tasks are conducted and are of superior quality.
  • Work with other departments for product needs, pricing, and marketing A&P launches.
  • Ensure Sales development programs are completed as necessary.




  • Must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable motor vehicle to meet with clients and vendors.
  • Normal working environment
  • May be required to work outside of normal working hours.
  • Will be required to make customer visits.
