St. Kitts Nevis Anguilla Trading and Development Company Limited (TDC) is a leading private company in St. Kitts and Nevis and is an equal employment opportunity employer. TDC is currently seeking applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of Mechanic at TDC Airlines Services Company Limited, Fort Street, Basseterre, St. Kitts.

The Mechanic will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of related equipment, operated by TDC (St. Kitts Nevis Anguilla Trading and Development Company Limited).

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Performing inspection and preventive maintenance

· Performing tyre and wheel maintenance/build-up

· Maintaining all equipment with the goal of zero corrosion (rust)

· Oil/filter changes and minor general automotive repairs

· Operating and testing equipment for performance assessment

Qualifications and Experience:

· High School Diploma is preferred; Certification from a Vocational School or Completion of Apprenticeship is a definite plus

· Vocational, Trade or Factory experience working with diesel engines

· Vocational, Trade or Factory training in generator repairs

· Valid Driver’s License, Class A, B, C, D, E, F or P-B Driver’s License

· At least three (3) years’ experience

· A problem-solving ability

· Very Good physical Health and Strength

· Familiarity with General Health/Safety Guideline and Practices

· Very Good Communication Skills
