Marketing Officer

Job Description

Job purpose

Advise on, coordinate, realize and manage media, content, communication tools, design, branding, promotional activities and events regarding the organization and products of Guardian Group Fatum, in line with communication and marketing policies, corporate brand and in close cooperation with the Marketing Manager and other departments, in order to ensure smooth internal and external communication and events and contribute to the positioning and promotion of Guardian Group Fatum.


Main responsibilities

  • Develop, combine, realize and edit content for letters, websites, flyers, billboards, etc. and coordinate content creation by third parties (e.g. PR agencies, bloggers)  
  • Plan, prepare and coordinate all events, shows and client meetings of Guardian Group Fatum
  • Contribute to the development of the corporate brand and ensure all materials adhere to visual identity and brand guidelines
  • Maintain contacts with and coordinate activities of external press- and advertisement agencies, as well as monitor the quality of the performed activities and deliverables, in line with the agreed assignment
  • Establish procedures and guidelines regarding internal and external communication, visual identity and brand guidelines, based on corporate branding and, after approval by manager, implement and monitor compliance 
  • Provide management with insights regarding quantitative and qualitative developments of the Commerce department by means of periodical and ad hoc reports and/or analyses


Other activities

  • Monitor and provide continuous feedback on the brand
  • Develop and realize off and online campaigns
  • Maintain social medial platform
  • Optimize online campaigns and complete monthly Google and social media analytics report
  • Ensure website has updated content at all times, providing recommendations where necessary
  • Execute all strategic brand and communications initiatives
  • Support all stakeholder communication activities
  • Keep abreast of best practice and trends in Corporate Communications in order to make informed recommendations
  • Inform decision making within Brand and Corporate Communications and assist with continuous improvement


Education and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Marketing or in a digital communications role
  • Good understanding of market research techniques, statistical and data analysis methods
  • Google certification and  SEO knowledge
  • Strong knowledge and experience with google analytics and Facebook ad manager
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills. Must have a good command of English and Dutch.
  • Strong media relations, outreach and communication expertise and experience.
