What is the opportunity?

As a Financial Solutions Associate you will begin your career by becoming the face of RBC to clients; working directly with clients every day, helping them with their everyday banking transactions, learning about their needs, and referring them to other RBC partners as needed.  Learning about RBC and continuously developing your knowledge and capability will enable you to represent RBC in a branch location, providing tailored advice to our clients. Your attention to detail and curious nature will assure an outstanding client experience for every client.  Your values match RBC values enabling you to give back to your community.

What will you do?

• Engage with clients in the branch by completing banking transactions promptly and accurately
• Ask questions to uncover any additional financial needs that you can help them with, either by fulfilling or referring them to an RBC partner
• Educate and help clients sign up for our digital/self-serve options like our ATMs and Mobile banking application that are available that provide convenient 24 hour access
• Take ownership of resolving and preventing client banking problems
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with partners to work as one RBC team
• Manage risk by adhering to compliance routines, processes, and controls to protect client and shareholder interests while completing transactions

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

• Five (5) Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate passes inclusive of Mathematics and English, or equivalent
• Proficient computer skills using standard software – Microsoft office suite
• Digital literacy across a broad range of devices (i.e., smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.)
• Demonstrated passion for putting clients first, as well as success in a client facing, target-driven environment
• Caring, curious, energetic with a desire to help clients and to make a difference within their communities 
• Drive and self-motivation, as well as excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence

 Nice-to-have

• Undergraduate degree in Finance or Business is an asset
• Track record in building rapport and maintaining client relationships within the financial, service, hospitality or retail industry
