St. Kitts Nevis Anguilla Trading and Development Company Limited (TDC) is a leading private sector company in St. Kitts and Nevis and is an equal employment opportunity employer.  TDC is currently seeking applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of Officer at the TDC Enterprise Risk Management Department, Fort Street, St. Kitts.

Position Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to the Enterprise Risk Manager in the implementation of risk management processes and procedures. The successful candidate will also champion the importance of Enterprise Risk Management in the organization and be assigned to any subsidiary or department within the TDC Group of Companies.

Essential Duties

• Participate in the training of staff on Enterprise Risk Management by developing suitable training materials based on Company policy and procedure
• Support the implementation of risk management concepts and processes in line with the Enterprise Risk Management policy and process guidelines
• Prepare and maintain accurate reports on risk assessments, research and monitoring activities conducted
• Explain different types of risks and possible responses to their treatment to stakeholders
• Build productive relationships with stakeholders through effective communication and consultation

Qualification and Experience

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting/Business/ Finance or a related field
• Risk Certification and/or training in ISO 31000 guidelines would be an asset
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working in compliance, risk management, audit or a related field

• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and Word
• Ability to multi-task, organize and work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Exercise sound and independent judgment
• Work independently as well as in a team
• Keen attention to detail and methodical in approach
