Data Quality Analyst BB

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that team members are adequately trained and prepared to support process and technological changes; optimizing the configuration settings of various applications to enhance functionality and operational performance; and supporting the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of the data stored and processed within the Finance Department’s enterprise applications.

The successful candidate will be expected to:

• Conduct training for non-technical users prior to the implementation of new applications or functionality.

• Provide ongoing support and assistance with change management efforts during and after project implementations.

• Gather information, document business process requirements, analyze available data and work with stakeholders to implement redesigned processes which support the achievement of operational goals.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategies and action plans surrounding the identified and agreed process improvement efforts.

• Collaborate with IT teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications for reports and interfaces.

• Make updates to application configuration in accordance with established Change Control Procedures.

• Participate in system testing and quality assurance activities to ensure the successful implementation of solutions.

• Conduct thorough research to understand industry best practices and trends as assigned.

• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and take corrective action to ensure the accuracy, completeness, consistency and timeliness of data.

• Develop feasibility studies, business cases, and cost-benefit analysis to support decision-making around people, process and technology.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems or any related discipline and a Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems or any related discipline.

• Proficiency in analyzing competencies and driving change; expertise with configuring enterprise applications and their impact on operational performance; experience developing and analyzing business processes to ensure data quality; and proficiency in data analytics.

• Proficiency in Power BI and Enterprise Resource Planning applications would be an asset.

• Project Management and Change Management experience would be an asset.
