A&C Engineer

The A&C Engineer will report to the Shift Supervisor.  The selected candidate will perform maintenance activities following airworthiness and industry standards.
•    Performs line maintenance duties to meet the required production levels. He/she is required to monitor all aspects of aircraft maintenance, investigating all job delays and liaises with senior engineers to identify causes and formulate process improvement recommendations.
•    Ensures the inspection, overhaul, and repair of all aircraft according to approved standards and airworthiness requirements and certifies the same as being airworthy.
•     Ensures the implementation and execution of daily work plans on assigned shifts. He/she organises shifts' resources to ensure that manpower and equipment requirements meet operational demands.
•     Ensures the application of recognised error management techniques consistent with industry practice.
•     Participates in the development of subordinate employees to create, monitor and maintain effective performance levels.
•     Ensures that equipment, tools and facilities immediately in use and under his/her control are available, serviceable and maintained to the industry standards.
•     Provides assistance and support to MCC/Line stations
•     Conducts safety briefings at the start of the shift to identify and mitigate work hazards to ensure the safety of the employees under his/her charge.

You must have a Trinidad & Tobago Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License (AMEL) with A & C extensions and type training on either ATR72-600 or B737-8. A minimum of five (5) years in aviation maintenance, including three (3) years of experience operating in a supervisory capacity within the aviation industry, is required. You must have a working knowledge of MS Office and other related software. Knowledge of methods and techniques of Project Management would be an asset.
