QUALITY ASSURANCE INSPECTOR - Trinidad

The Quality Assurance Inspector will report to the Quality Assurance Manager. The selected candidate will provide effective oversight of the company’s Quality Management System in compliance with the TTCAA, and FAA regulations, by ensuring that all the quality standards and any additional requirements of the company and the TTCAA are maintained through the accomplishment of quality audits, continuous monitoring and inspections in the following departments including but not limited to, Flight Operations, In Flight, Ground Operations, Maintenance, Cargo and Security.
Operational Effectiveness: Identifies deficiencies; makes suggestions for corrective action; monitor the response and measures the result of flight safety initiatives.
Audit: Performs inspection audits and highlight areas where changes are required to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the maintenance and operations system and provide the necessary recommendations and support to implement enhanced improvements
Customer Service: Consistently seeks to capitalize on opportunities to exceed the expectations of customers (internal and external) by placing a keen interest in understanding and effectively resolving customer-impacting issues in a professional and result-oriented manner.
Compliance: Ensures compliance with national and international aviation requirements, and in particular, with the terms and conditions of Air Operations Certification/Approved Maintenance Organization Certification.
You must have an Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Licence (AMEL) OR Pilots Licence OR certification in other areas of airline operations. You must have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in Aviation related activities e.g. Operations, Maintenance with three (3) years’ experience in an airline or aviation related quality systems or an equivalent combination of experience and training. You must have Type certification in two (2) categories, in at least one type of aircraft in the company’s fleet or certification privileges/authorization on equipment operated by the airline (Quality Maintenance only), as well as Certification in Quality Auditing Techniques.
You will have a strong customer service orientation; an ability to work independently, within clearly defined guidelines; and demonstrate excellent communication, risk management and problem solving skills.
